Recommended C25K?

So I've been using C25K by Zen Labs on and off for awhile... It crashes a lot and sometime I can't get all 5 days in. I bike ride and do a lot of other activities too!

I recently discovered Run Doubles program ... Is it too good to be true? Can you really get to a 5k in 9 weeks with only using it 3 days a week? I love that it also does intervals and has other programs to do after the 5k

Is there another program you would recommend? I have an Android phone.

This is the one I did, 9 weeks 3 times a day. Loved it and now love running! It's definitely doable, I never felt I couldn't complete the runs or that it was going too fast :)

ETA - I meant I did the run doubles.

5 days a week? Most programs I have seen are 3.
A Learn to Run program I volunteer with does the same basic program in 9 weeks (also 3 times a week), so I wouldn't say its too good to be true.

Sorry, I am not familiar with apps, I just go by the written version.

I LOVE RunDouble!! I paid the $2 or whatever for the full app and I love it.

I did the c25k program from the runners world site (if I remember correctly) it was 9 weeks, 3 days a week. In week 4 I switche over to a 13week 10k plan though. Same idea, 3days a week as well. I just programmed the intervals into runkeeper - worked like a charm.
Seen as I took the winter off, I am now doing a modified version of the whole thing again. Cycling for cross training so I won't be tempted to run too much

Oh and to answer your question, YES you can get to it!! I was in week 7 last week but signed up for a 5K and finished it in 35:04 without walking at all :)

I am a major fan of 5KRunner from clearapps.com. Also have 5KForever and 10KRunner. If you are interested in getting to 6 miles I would just get the 10KRunner as it is just an extension of the original 5KRunner. 3 days a week/8 week program to get to the 5K; another 6 weeks to get to the 10K level. 5KForever has speed work to improve time and a host of different runs over the weeks, all repeatable. Have never had a problem with these apps. Well worth the $2.99 (?).
