Just thought I'd share this fascinating article I heard on NPR this morning, and how our body actually produces more "satiety" hormones when our mind thinks we're full:

That's really interesting. I guess the takeaway message is that we should find foods that make us feel sated? I stopped eating salads for the exact reason the article pointed out: I never felt full. But I can eat a meal with the same amount of calories and be satisfied by it.0

Sadly suspect it doesn't work for me - and maybe explains some of my issues.
If I eat high calorie tasty food, my general thought is MOAR!0
