lost motivation

I’m in a wrist brace due to a tendon injury, so I can’t do the lifting that I did when I was going to the gym every day. Because of it I’m frustrated when I wake up in the morning and just want to go back to sleep. I need to start going back to the gym, hitting the treadmill or the pool, because I’m starting to fall back into old habits.

I’ve just lost motivation because of the injury. What gets you going again when you’ve lost motivation?

The alternative of bad health and possibly health problems!

There isn't any going back for me. You can't do the lifting but there are many other exercises you could do in order to stay on track. Life happens and this will not be the only time an obstacle will get in your way. Find ways to work around it.

Don't give up ..... try something else instead .....

    If I can't lift (achy back/neck/shoulders) then I walk ...... when I can't walk (sciatica) then I lift or do yoga ......

    Feel better soon :drinker:

Verptwerp, might have to give yoga a try.

I can't put much weight onto my arm if it involves using the forearm, IE leaning against the wall, stretching it, anything that weights more than 5 lbs. so getting out of bed it a pain and such moreso since it's my main arm.

The biggest block is the frustration since it is my main hand. Doc said it's tennis elbow on the inside of the arm.
