Hello, I'm not expecting to have my perfect body overnight, just curious how long it took to see a remarkable change in your body?

I started seeing noticeable results within about 2 months. Here's a pic at 11.5 weeks after starting eating at a 500 deficit and working out about 4 times/week, mostly strength training.

Honestly... I still haven't seen a change! But I can feel it... my pants are fitting looser and I can wear t-shirts I haven't worn for years.

I've been working out with a personal trainer once a week for about a year, and I've lost a few inches and several body fat percentages, but I wasn't seeing the results I wanted. About a month ago I started really cracking down on my food logging, and I've been trying to run (or at least get cardio) three or four days a week, and I'm finally seeing some movement on the scale.

I think it's really all in finding the right balance of activity for you... once you do you'll start seeing what you want to see and it will encourage you to do more!

    Hang in there! :)

I've gone from 233 to 208 and the only change I see so far is my neck area. I took front and side pics at 233. When I hit 200 I am going to take new pics from the same angles to see if there is a difference I am not noticing now. Pretty excited!

As far as FEELING the change though... YES. Waaay more energy already. I'm so glad I started doing this right before we had our baby, because the extra energy is really helping.

I have been doing this for 3 weeks and do not see a change yet. I don't expect to see a real change for 2-3 months. But I do feel the change. Not only do my pants fit a little looser, I have more energy, feel more focused, and this forum helps keep me in a positive mood. Also, when I have a heavy splurge meal, I feel yucky at the end...so my splurge meals are becoming much healthier as well!

I"ve noticed things fit differently but do I look in the mirror and go "wow, I look thinner".... Nope, and I know how much I've lost both pounds and inches and I haven't noticed anything. Not even really in pictures... But everyone else has ;-)

The more you have to lose, the longer it takes to see noticeable physical changes. For example, someone with 30 Lbs is going to look quite a bit different having lost 20 of those Lbs...where as someone with 130 Lbs isn't going to look all that different with those same 20 Lbs gone.

I would also mention that a lot of people do not do the right kind of exercise to achieve the body composition and look they are going for...a lot of people don't realize that there is more to the equation than just that number on the scale...

I Agree. I started at 272 and the first 30 lbs came off in 2 months and it was noticeable..after that it wasnt so noticeable. 9 months of cardio(only thing i could do) I wasnt losing -my clothes is loose but not falling off yet. Month 10 I started weights and now noticing im getting more toned in just 2.5 weeks. Weights for me was the missing key. Hope to see improvements by my 1 yr mark ( 2 months). I am now 231.
