Fitbit Flex question

I have been wearing my Fitbit Flex for a few months now and have tried logging a couple ways with it. Generally I log 1 calorie burned on my run or work out. Fitbit then does an adjustment based on my activity level.

Does anyone know if Fitbit is then calculating my actual calorie burn on that adjustment or is it smart enough to know that the 70 minutes I spent running I logged as 1 calorie burned for a reason?

I hope that makes sense. Any info you have to share would be great. Thanks!!!!

My understanding is that if you "override" the calorie burn manually it will use that number and not the one fitbit generated for the time period you logged. So, if for example I walked for an hour this morning and my heart rate monitor says 400 calories but fitbit says 250, I would log the 400 for the time period I was walking and the fitbit adjustment disappears. It will still calculate for the rest of the day though.

Great thanks. That was my experience with it as well. Just felt a bit uncertain about it.
