First time on MFP coming from WW

Hi all, I have tried MFP before but just used it as something I was looking at and not really tracked, etc. I have just ended my online subscription to WW so decided to now really use MFP. Got some great advice from others on the WW boards that use MFP. I do have a question, the system adds the calories I earn from exercise to my total for the day. What if I do not want to use those calories, can I change it so they are not included? Also, how do I change the percentages for the other things I want to track such as protein, carbs, etc? Thanks for your help, looking forward to meeting many of you and enjoying this new journey.

Hi !!! I also followed ww for years. I decided to try MFP because the site & app is free !! I had the same question about the system adding calories you burned from exercise to your total daily calorie total ! Maybe I want to save those calories for my cheat day lol !!! You can change the percentages by going into My home, click on goals, change goals, and then go into custom ! I had to do the same because I felt as though i wanted more protein & less carbs !! Good luck !!0
