After spending the last three months bulking, weight training on a calorie deficit is so tough! Not alot more substance than that... I just needed to say it!

Yeah, I didn't realize how sucky it was until I went into maintenance (started weight training in a deficit) and then started busting through a bunch of lifting plateaus. Yet to bulk, but I'm sure it would be another huge jump.

Yeah, swinging from bulk to cut was probably a pretty extreme flip. I just gotta get used to the new calorie levels I think.

Ahhh...you think cookies are your ally. You merely adopted cookies. I was born with them, my body molded by them. I didn't see a vegetable until I was already a man, by then they were nothing to me but greenery.

Out of curiosity what is your intake during bulk and cut periods respectively?

I am looking forward to this when I hit maintenance at the end of this month (crosses fingers) since I have been a bit stalled on a few of my lifts...

I can just imagine a bulk...what a mind trip that will be if I ever do one.

Ha! Thanks for the Babe quote! Babe had kinda been my motivating/goal. I really want to have his body type. In addition, I will be doing a Bane cosplay (super geek here btw) and I want to pull off the build.

While I was bulking, I was at 3,500. I did a couple weeks of 3,000 and now I am at 2,500 cals.

I feel like I'm starving all the time.
