Hi,
My name is Laura, I'm 25 years old and in the past 12 months I have gained approximately 12kgs. I weigh 70kgs currently which is well and truly above my current goal weight of 58kgs.
Since the death of my father and spending 13 weeks in the united states, I have been gaining weight rapidly. Mostly around my butt, thighs and stomach, I look quite disproportionate because of where my fat stores and feel very very pear shaped. I am desperate to start losing some weight and have taken the first step by going off my birth control pill which also contributed to some very recent weight gain.
I'm not very creative when it comes to my eating and I love potatoes, pasta and cheese, I'm also very unmotivated when it comes to exercise and cannot enjoy anything overly strenuous, such as running. I do like to swim but struggle to find the time.
I am looking for simple on the go recipes and advice to suit my busy lifestyle. I'm a full time student and I work part time, so I'm also on a budget so cannot afford a gym membership or similar.
I am also interested in some simple exercise routines I can do to tone up my thighs and tummy.
Feel free to add me as I'm looking for people to encourage me and inspire me.
