I was using MapMyRun but I noticed tonight that when running intervals, the total time ran kept jumping ahead by several minutes. One moment it was at 18m, and the next it was 23m.

Any recommendations for a similar app?

Runkeeper is pretty good (mainly cause I love the audio alerts better than anything else I have tried) .. but the auto pause stinks. They blame it on the fact it is a GPS app. But sorry ... lame excuse.

I mostly use the Nike+ app .. cause the pause works much better. I have a Nike+ GPS watch .. but like the app for the audio alerts only which the watch will not do.

Runkeeper, Endomondo and Runtastic. All three sync with MFP, they each have strengths and weaknesses.

I've used all four, found consistent problems with the MapMyFitness suite. I've used Runkeeper for about 4 years and had occasional issues around a software update but they're generally resolved very quickly, I've been using Endomondo for about 7 months and like the analytics on the website.

I've used Runtastic recently as some friends use it, personally I didn't feel that it gave me anything more than RK or Endomondo, and the upsell to premium version is very intrusive.

I use Runtastic and I'm more than happy with it.
