Hope you don;t mind me asking, but what was the reason for his heart transplant? Was it diet/obesity related? Also how old is he?

You really should ask your doctor these questions, and perhaps ask for a referral to a dietician.

But I will say that if he is almost 20 it might be time to stop being so fussy and learn to try new foods. Not eating any vegetables is not smart. He needs to be smart with his diet.

I agree, you should probably discuss these things with a doctor. There's a disclaimer that pops up on almost every exercise DVD and weight loss program advert that says "Consult a doctor before undertaking any new exercise regime/weight loss plan" but almost everyone ignores it! I'd say in your son's case, with his medical history, he should definitely heed that advice!
