Not too sure about adding exercise with using Body Media

Ok so I had purchased the Body Media about a year and a half ago and barely used it. So now that I am 100% serious about getting healthy and losing weight I started using it again. I am a bit confused on the adding exercise part as it has added exercise to my fitness pal, which from what I am guessing is what I burn during a normal given day. Today was the first day using it while going to the gym, so should I add the exercise onto here or do I download what my Body Media puts later on tonight? And I don't know how good Body Media is I had heard about it on Biggest Loser and there was a super discount to make it affordable, any idea on if this is good and accurate or not?
