Help!!

I'm seriously struggling with cravings and motivation and I really want to give up but I'm very unhealthy and unhappy. I keep eating pasta and snacks and can't stop!:sad: :mad: :explode: :grumble: :ohwell: :indifferent: :frown: :brokenheart: :huh:

Its not all about what you eat, but how much. Eat pasta - but perhaps half as much as you did before and pair it with a salad. And go for lower cal pasta sauces, and/or use less sauce.0

Make sure you eat lots of protein. I know when I ate more protein I want less junk. Also find yummy healthy foods...I LOVE 100 calorie greek yogurt!0

Is your target calories per day too low?
This is just what I find, so your mileage may vary. If I set too low of an average daily goal -- and I've been eating at too low for a while, like let's say a week -- when I try to eat a "reasonable" 300-500 portion of things like pasta, my brain -- which I've been starving for a week -- says "holy moly, carbs! EAT THEM ALL!!!!" And I lose control... because I'm starving.
My tip, don't starve yourself, ever. Eat at a reasonable deficit. You'll be happier and have a greater sense of control over what and how much you eat.0 -
Aaaah this is a problem of negativity.
You really need to learn to not be so harsh on yourself or you will be discouraged all the time. Weight loss is an up and down for everyone. EVERYONE binges from time to time.
If you binge and feel discouraged and you get thoughts like "Oh wow now I screwed up anyways, I'm such a failure, why even bother no eating this pasta now" - then you will binge again.
But if you binge and think "Oh hey, I just binged, dang it, so how much do I have to exercise/how many days does it take to make up for this!?" - you are muuuch more likely to get back on track.
Trust me, EVERYONE binges on bread and pasta some time.
If it's really hard for you, try to fit pasta into your daily calorie goal. Have so and so much of what you crave every day so you don't feel the urge to binge.
And most importantly - don't be so hard on yourself!0
