Hey friends. I have another question. What is everyones weekly weight loss goal? I can't do 1200 calories a day. Some people can but its not for me. I work out 5-7 days a week usually 60-90 mins.

I have a goal of 2 lbs a week but the best I ever do is about 1.6-1.8 per week.0

Weekly weight loss goal of 1.5 lbs. This allows me 1250 cals/day. Itry to burn 400 cals/day with exercise, and I usually eat all of my excercise cals. I have lost 9 lbs in 6 weeks, so I think mfp is right on target with it's calculations. Good luck!0

I have mine set for2 lbs/week so I get 1,270 calories. But I work out 6 days a week and usually burn 800-1100 calories.0

my weight loss goal a week is as many Ibs as possible. lately its been about 4 to 5 this week im going for 3. i work out 2 hours a day 6 days a week and my calorie goal is 12500

MFP has my goal at 1200 calories a day. I try and work out every day for at least 20 minutes a day. Last week I only worked out 3 days (weigh in on Wednesdays) and lost 1.7 pounds. MFP has it calculated at 1.5 a week. Hopefully this week I work out more and lose more.
I also eat as close to the 1200 as possible. When I work out I normally eat more than the 1200...but I still get the "Your eating too few calories" thing when I calculate my day.0 -
are you saying 1200 is too much or too little? If too much, try increasing your cals by 200 cals/week adding nuts and whole grain carbs. If too little, eat your exercise cals!0

I've got mine set to 1 lb per week so MFP gives me 1370 per day. I also work out 5-6 times a week and burn anywhere from 400-1000 calories depending on the workout I do. I eat an average of 1600 per day and I am not hungry at all. I don't eat back all my exercise calories because sometimes I'm not exactly sure how many calories are in some things I eat if I don't prepare them myself. I also don't do the math and back out the calories I would have burned during the workout time just by being alive. I've been doing this since 8/22 and have "officially" lost 9.4 lbs. Unofficially (weigh in day is Sunday) I've lost closer to 11 so I'm averaging more than 1 lb. per week. and this is manageable for me.0

After I put in all my info when I signed up, MFP seemed to think that .8 pounds was realistic for me. I have done a little better than that over the month, but it all seems to average out to about what MFP decided was the best path for me. It's been pretty tough even at that.0

Thanks every one. I really appreciate it0

i have mine set at 0.8lbs/week. mfp won't let me lose any more than that without going under 1200 calories. its working out for me, yes i am losing slowly but at least i am keeping it off. i don't eat all my calories back either, but try to stay close to 1200 or a little over.0
