I'm starting my 3th week in the program and feel hungrier than before.
I feel bad because I almost go over my calorie limit almost everyday since 3 weeks,,,,,, Now I'm starting to feel a bit depressed...
Is that happen to some else?
Hoe did you manage it?
Thanks!!!!!

It sounds silly but are you eating your exercise calories back?0
-
Are you eating back your exercise calories? If not, do so. MFP has calculated your daily caloric goal with your weight loss gains - the deficit necessary for weight loss is already accounted for in the daily goal - and is designed for you to eat back the calories burned by exercise.
BTW, you have increased the effort your body exerts by following a C25K program and your body needs increased calories to fuel that increase in exertion.0 -
You're supposed to eat over your calorie limit in the amount of calories that you burn when you do your couch to 5 k0

I am having the same experience0 -
It is completely normal. For me, it comes in waves. I will be ravenous for a few days and then it will slowly fade.
Keep your foods nutrient dense and your protein and your fiber up. They will keep you fuller. Drink lots of water too.
Allow yourself to eat and enjoy it. Your body needs food!
Keep up the good work0 -
Yes running makes most people crazy hungry. Are you eating back your exercise calories?0
-
Yes, totally normal. I gained weight training for marathons as I couldn't stop eating. As others have said, make sure you're eating back the calories you burn. And the higher quality your diet the better so that it keeps you full (heavy in fruit, veggies, lean protein, nuts, etc).0

Up you calories. Better you lose a little slower then give up. Try eating more low cal protein ( egg whites, yogurt, nuts, tuna, chicken)
As a snack. It will satisfy you and keep you full longer. Tea helps too.0 -
Thanks you guys, I feel less depressed
Yes, I eat back the calories burned and even more....that my problem, my calorie limit is 1600.
I will try to eat more fiber and lean protein.
I am scared to go on the balance... I usually weigh in every Friday!0 -

How's your fat intake? It's a tricky balance with running because you need the carbs, but imo fat is more sating than protein or fiber.
Also it will die down a little. The first few weeks are the hardest.0 -

If you have set MFP up to lose 2 pounds per week, then change it to 1 pound per week.0 -
Funny you say that, I was running on Monday & half way through all I could think of was how hungry I was! Week 2!0

I know how you feel! I do C25K in the morning before work (week 2, day finished today, but I am doing it 5 days a week since I have two 5k runs on July 5th) and before I even get to my weight training after work I have eaten 1500 of my 1700 calories! (40% carbs, 30% protein, 30% fat)0
