Just don't. The kid is exhausted, miserable, and screaming the entire movie. How awful can you be at parenting? You think little kids want to listen to guns and bombs blowing up until 12 AM?

I have two kids and I've never done that. At 10PM, I am PRAYING they are asleep. LOL

Just saw Captain America 10 PM showtime and a mom and dad walk in with their <1 year old kid who started crying due to pure exhaustion and auditory/visual stimulation overload. I was so upset the kid had to go through that.

The only thing I can think is that they were desperate to get out of the house and hoped that the kiddo would go to sleep. I've had friends do that. I would in a restaurant where the noise is a 'hum' but not in a theater where the noise would be loud and jarring.
