I have been loosing the same 10 pounds for years :( Its getting kind of boring. Does anyone have any suggestions? Seems like I'm always on a diet. Cant figure out the right balance of activity vs food. I measure my food and have to eat under 1200 to not gain??!! Have had a physical and everything looks fine. I do 30 min at least of aerobics per day. Walk the dog every day for 20-30 min. I am confused. Im 5 foot 1- 140 pounds modest goal of 125.
Any suggestions?

How old are you? If you plug your numbers into this calculator, it should give you a general idea of your BMR and TDEE. What numbers does it give you?

    measuring food doesn't cut it.

You need to weigh your solids and measure liquids.

It's the fact you are treating this as a diet, which is a temporary fix...make it permanent.

Eat at a reasonable deficet, set weekly weight loss goal to half a pound, weigh and log everything and it will come.

After you hit goal weight you should continue to weigh and log everything to ensure you are eating at maintenance.
