Stand Up Paddle Boarding.....

Does anybody do this? I am interested in doing this. Is it good exercise? We live right next to the bay and we have a lot of dolphins that come in the bay and would love to be out paddling by them and watching them.

Thoughts?

    I find stand up paddle boarding more of a relaxation thing versus a workout.

    You can push yourself and get a solid arm workout in, but with the dolphins and such you'll probably do it for relaxation as well!

    Yes! I just tried paddle boarding in February for the first time. It was so much fun and a great core workout - with maintaining balance on the board and paddling at the same time. Give it a try!

    ETA: When we were out the water was a bit rough, making maintaining balance a challenge, and therefore a core workout. If the water is very calm, I can agree with the person above...it would be more relaxing than a workout.
