Best way to know if you're eating enough

I use fitbit and mfp. I have them synced. However fitbit does not measure activity like vinyasa yoga which I know burns serious calories, nor does it measure strength training. I am worried that my weight loss is stalled because I am not eating enough or something. In the past 4 months I've seen 1lb weight loss and 2% body fat loss but thats it. I am eating between 1300- 1600 calories per day. Any one have advice?

One way is to make sure your profile settings are correct in terms of your activity level and weekly weight loss goal. Be on the conservative side of tracking exercise calories and eat back at least half of those calories. Don't forgot water and measurements.

Here's a site that can help ballpark calories for things like yoga and weight lifting: http://www.self.com/calculatorsprograms/calculators/caloriesburned/yoga

Remember, weight loss is not linear. That said, 1 lb in 4 months seems low. Have you taken your measurements? I have not lost weight in 2 weeks, but I've lost an inch off my hips.

It's impossible for me to tell you if you're eating enough/too much without knowing your current weight, height, and activity level. Do you weigh all of your food and measure your liquids? Do you weigh yourself at the same time of day? Do you weigh yourself frequently enough to know fluctuations vs weight loss? Do consume a lot of sodium? Do you drink plenty of water?

I have done measurements and I lost an inch of my waist in addition to 1lb and the body fat. It just seems like I cant shed the pounds or I dont have much movement at all. I started measuring my food and things about a month ago. I bought a food scale, I only drink water 99% of the time. I've had my thyroid tested and its fine. I just don't get it. My sodium intake is always within the guidelines of MFP, my current weight is 156.1 I am 5'4 inches tall and I run 2.5 miles 3 days a week and do strength training 2 days a week. Within the past week, I've added in 4 days of vinyasa yoga. So on days I do strength training I also do yoga. I have also added 30 minute power walk on my strength days.
