Easter?!

I'm wondering what I should so for Easter...should I net below my calories for the next few days so I can have 1,000 extra calories that day? I'm worried about it because I've done so well this week and don't want to ruin it.

I plan to indulge a little bit on Easter, an extra 500 calories probably. I have also been having a really good week, so I am not too worried. I plan to get in extra exercise on the weekend to help counteract the extra calories.

Yes. I will be trying to bank calories for the next three days! I have my parents and in-laws to visit. It would be rude to turn down a dinner:wink:

Easter is a free day for me. Then, back to business as usual come Monday.

Last year I ate maintenance calories on Easter. That way I could indulge and I still remained in a deficit for the week (just not as big of one as normal).

This year, I'm pregnant and not really concerned.

We are having ham, mashed potatoes, green salad and frozen peas for Easter. That part should be pretty easy to eat OK. We are having Raspberry Cheesecake for dessert. I will just have a small piece. We have Dove Easter eggs. I will track them and make sure I don't eat too many...I won't eat half the bag like I used to. After Easter dinner, I will freeze the rest of the Raspberry Cheesecake Bars.

Don't eat less to "make up" for Easter and don't worry about your calorie intake on Easter. Don't even log. Consider it a refeed day and forget about it. On Monday, go back to normal as if it never happened. It's one day - Easter is for you to enjoy time with your family and eat good food, so do that!

I plan to eat my body weight in food. :)
