Is it bad if I do this?

I am curious. I recently started to take Vitafusion Energy B12 Gummy Vitamins (500mcg) before I work out. I especially take it when I work 12 hour shifts and the only time I can exercise is after work. I need more energy to make it through the work out on those days. I know vitamin B12 helps speed up your metabolism but are there any negative affects I should be worried about?

    taking b vitamins can make it hard to fall asleep even if you take them a few hours before bed. they dont call them the energy vitamins for nuthin' :)
    i do think b6 is worse for this than the b12 though, but dont quote me on it.

    Better to snack on a muesli bar which will provide carbs to provide you long-lasting energy and will provide natural vitamins through fruit, yoghurt, nuts, nutritional yeast, etc instead of paying for a sweet gummy. Tastes better, too.
