Hi all
Hello. Hi. Hey
On Monday April 21st I am going to start a bit of a challenge, and I’d love to see if anyone will join me. I've made a 4 week plan to try & re ignite some motivation and prepare me for summer. I’m not doing anything extreme or silly, I’m just doing what someone should do to lose weight. Eat Less, Excercise more. Although I am going to pick up the 5:2 routine again as I found that this worked very well for me before christmas.
I have never been tiny, but at 5 foot 2 I stood at 8 stone 7 ibs for many years. In two years at university I managed to creep up to 10 stone. As it stands, I believe I am around 9 stone3 - I will know for definate on Monday 19th as that is my next weigh in. I have begun to incorporate healthier eating (i.e. less binging) and more excercise over the past year and have found the 11ibs I have lost so far very slow to go. I don’t mind, because they have gone properly. I did get to 9 stone just before christmas, but it seems like since then I have lost a whole bunch of motivation - yet my self confidence has not improved so I do need to continue this journey. So, no excuses. I go away for 1 week at the end of June, and so I have given myself a target of 8 stone 7 by then. If I can do that, then I can do anything.
I have 4 weeks left of routine. I am on my placement year from univeristy, and there are 4 weeks until I am finished. I’m not going to change an awful lot if i’m honest as I am in to a good routine, and have been for a few month now. It’s just the extra snacks and the silly excuses that I need to cut.
By knowing that this is only a 4 week intense cycle I hope that I will be able to motivate myself, stay on track and see results. I also hope that having done this, the plans I put in place after these 4 weeks will seem less intense and therefore achievable and enjoyable.
I have created a bit of a rubbish looking calendar for my wall, because I love ticking things off. I’m excited for this, I think I can do it. Anyone who fancies joining me, let me know. & anyone who has done something similar, I’d love to hear your results
I made a blog because I want to trtack my progress and share it. I find it hard to find similar blogs that aren't just full of 'fitspo' and maybe this will help someone else one day. http://fourweektothin.tumblr.com
I'd love anyone who might do something similar to add me, or even those who just want to see how I go..
