Holiday weekend getaway

This weekend my family and I are going away. Two days in hotel and restaurants. I know I will have to let my guard down a bit but I am afraid to undo all of the hard work I have accomplished. I have already researched the restaurants we like for nutritional info to pre-select meals, there is supposed to be a fitness center at hotel and a pool, fridge and microwave in our suite. Any other suggestions? It is Easter weekend, and there will be chocolate in for my kids, I just hope my kids find the chocolate bunnies before I get a chance to nibble the ears.

Holidays and celebrations happen. No one making this lifestyle change is going to give up all the yummy foods for the rest of their life. Just make the best selections you can and be sure you are active. Even if you go over on calories, it's likely you'll still eat far less than you would have had you taken your getaway before making these healthy changes.

Just like one weekend of dieting wont make you skinny, one bad weekend wont make you that much fatter.
Enjoy whatever you want but be more limited. If you used to eat 5 cadbury eggs, eat 1. If you dont enjoy yourself every once in awhile you will hate what you are doing and give up
