good protein powder? (uk brands)

Hi all

I am not currently taking protein atm, i am doing a mix of cardio pilates and i eat clean.

Protein shakes are always suggested but I have never personally found the need. Plus I think its quite unnatural? I know that there are probably 'good' ones out there. But I dont know how to look for them. Can anyone suggest any brands for me to have a look at and what I should avoid or look for.. as I am considering taking the to help my muscles repair faster. I am trying to lose weight so wonder if this will even benefit me? I know it wont bulk me up as Im a female, but any responses will be really helpful. beginner to protein shakes here!

Thanks

If you want more protein in your diet, I would suggest getting it from whole foods first. More chicken, eggs, beef etc. if you decide to go down the protein powder route, remember it should be used as a 'supplement', once or twice a day is plenty.

I like Maxiraw, myprotein, and bulk powders for cheaper brands in the uk. If I'm feeling flush I will get Optimum Nutrition 100% whey! or Bsn syntha 6
