The point being if it displayed on the scale you would be able to see how many calories in something before eating it so would help those just starting out and learning food choices. Also you would still save some time especially in the morning rush before work. Personally I think it's a good idea and there are scales on the market that sync in this way to other apps.0

Seems like way more of a hassle than just logging.0

Is "there" a digital food scale that can sync to MFP?
Looking to automatically sync a food scale to MFP app
No. The problem with that is that is has no way to tell what you are weighing. I weigh potatoes, butter and meat on the same scale. They all have different calories and macros. A scale that could sync all that information accurately would be very expensive.
Somebody needs to invent a "smart" scale that knows what foods you are weighing. Whoever is able to do this stands to make millions.
bar code scanner?
so you would scan first then the scale knows what you are weighing
with a built in list of things like fruit and veg that sometimes people dont buy in packets with a code to scan?
Im gonna sugest this to the husband so he can go on dragons den0 -

This! Also have it sync your recent and frequent food lists so you can just scroll through and select them like on the MFP app.0 -
