exercising too soon after calf strain?

Last week I was overzealous with the weighted calf raises. They were sore on Friday, then I landed on a jump the wrong way and pulled my left calf. I stupidly ignored it on Saturday and exercised on it, without icing it or bandaging it.

I finally googled calf injuries and took a break this week, but I felt like such a slob sitting around. So I did 50 minutes of modified circuit training this morning (no high impact). I also still bike to work, as it's my main mode of transportation. Bad idea? It's still a little sore...

Luckily, I'm going to San Francisco tomorrow so I'll have to take a break. I was hoping to jog through Golden Gate, but that's obviously out of the question.
