Entering a recipe (marinade)
Hi all...
I need to enter a recipe, but am unsure how to do it.
I have chicken marinading right now, and of course will not eat what it is marinading in. Do I still include all marinade measurements in my recipe? Partial? How is that calculated?
Thanks!

If you want to track the marinade put the recipe in and weigh the whole batch. (Now yo have total cals in batch)
Marinade your chosen meat
Weigh the left over marinade
The difference is the amount of marinade that you will be consuming.0 -
OK, great! Thanks!0

This confused me too, but I decided to do the exact same thing as suggested above! If my marinade recipe is 1 cup and after marinating, I have 7/8 cup left, I know that 1/8 cup was absorbed into the meat. So when I log it, I log 1/8 of my recipe. ????0
