Yoga Apps

Hello :)
Are there any yoga apps or exercising apps in general that you would recommend?

  • Gain Yoga is great because it's free and makes a routine for you. I also have Yogify but you only have the first three classes free and I'm a little wary of that. Hot5 has downloadable workouts of all kinds for free including some yoga.

Spitfire is an awesome strength training app for women. Nike Training Club is also free and seems to be geared toward women. I got PushUps Pro for free although I'm not sure of the cost. C25k is great for running and again, free. Teemo gives you several little adventures of exercises to do and is actually pretty fun if you aren't in the mood for working out. Human is a really simple app you keep on in the background and tracks how many minutes you're moving and it doesn't seem too accurate as to what kind of movement you're doing, but it's awesome to track how many minutes a day I'm up and walking or running. Johnson and Johnson's 7 Minute Workout is my favorite of the kind. And although it isn't strictly a fitness app, I keep AppsGoneFree because it often has fitness or wellness apps on there for free that I otherwise wouldn't have tried.
