A Night of Heavy Drinking

I never drink. I hardly drink; however, last night was a huge occasion with my best friends and I drank A LOT.
Coming home, I noticed 2+ lbs on the scale and a little alcohol baby (bloating) in my tummy.

What would you suggest as a cleanse technique to rid of these toxins finally and feel 'back to normal'?
Or any exercise regime/nutritional information that could help me is appreciated!

Drink water and give yourself time. Your body is perfectly capable of clearing up toxins on its own.

You have to allow your liver time to process the alcohol. Going on a fast or cleanse just taxes your liver even more. Get back to clean eating and drink lots of water.

Is this post asking how to cure a hangover?

    I like it.

This seems to be a very individual prescription. I drink lots of water, lots of minestrone soup, eggs and a couple aspirin.

Water, hash browns, broccoli, green tea.
  • I have heard that water with lemon, lime, mint leaves and cucumber is supposed to get rid of bloating and excess water weight. Never tried it though

If it's a hang over you want to get rid of, eat Mcdonalds fried something or others with fries and a coke. Works for me every time.

I'd ask how one "eats classy" but I wouldn't do it anyway. Unless "classy" involves lots of baked goods and ice cream.

I enjoy lying on the couch, drinking water and claiming that I will never drink again. Often eating pizza or cheap noodles.

After a very good night I may spend some time cleansing in the bathroom paying my respects to the porcelain god.

    What's clean and classy?

I'm guessing it isn't hair of the dog and chili cheese fries.

Waffle House. Cures every hangover known to the human race. If you don't have one nearby, you simply need to move.

Seriously what is it about greasy food in general that works so well? This plus lots of water works for me everytime without fail.

Maybe it's not eating from the taco truck but instead going to a Mexican resturant?

Either way a taco is a taco and I'll take 2 please.

When I find myself somewhere without Waffle House, a run for the border is the next best thing.

Double order of hash browns, scattered extra crispy, diced, capped, chopped, smothered, covered and topped with triple over light light, order of bacon and waffle dark. Coffee 6 cream.

In my experience a bottle of blue powerade is the answer. Combine that with a plate of greasy food, and a gram of dissolvable aspirin in a large glass of water. You will be cured.

Just drink water. I drink alcohol all the time. Occasionally I drink too much. Drink a bunch of water to get re-hydrated, and you'll feel right as rain in the morning.

I usually drink 3-5 cups of water after a night of drinking and I keep a cup of water by my bed if I wake up parched or with a headache. Technically it takes as many cups of water as alcoholic beverages to regain the fluids. So, if you had 4 drinks (or 24 oz of alcohol) drink 24 oz of water when you get home.

Hangover cure? Sip water until he nausea goes away. Puke. Then I eat three sliders, potato wedges and have a shower beer. Back to 80-90% at that point. Get back on the horse the following day and call around for the funny *kitten* I did that I don't remember doing. :)

Wait. I'm confused. Do you never drink or hardly drink? As in..was this your first time ever drinking and you are unsure how to handle things ever? Or you rarely drink and just got confused?
