Need a kick up the bum!

Right now my target calories are 1200. I really struggle to hit this most days, usually because I can't be bothered to eat, and I like my chocolate too much so I tend to eat rubbish. I just learnt about BMR and mine came to 1470 so I'm definitely not eating enough. My OH works shifts too, so usually I eat alone, which I find really boring.
