how to become a personal trainer

Can you do this without going back to school for years? What about fitness/nutrition expert? Any thoughts on this? I'm 44, not interested in 4 more years of college

You get a personal trainer certification. Google "how to become a personal trainer" for more details. NASM is a good first cert. Expect from 1 to 6 months of studying, depending on your ability to grasp sciencey things..
Keep in mind that if you want to give out meal plans, you should get additional nutrition credentials. Some cert companies offer that.0 -

Getting a cert can be accomplished in a weekend. Getting a base of knowledge deep enough that you can help more people than you hurt is a different story0
