No more fast food - april

No more fast food for me! No more pizza and french fries. I didn't eat any this week and started cooking when I'm alone again this week (I only used to cook when I had guests).

In the process I will save a bit of money, accelerate my weight loss and become even healthier then I already am.

Who will join?

If you join, tell which foods you want to avoid and give an update around the end of the month whether you where successful or not.

  • I'll join you! I have been having a hard time with it this month. In fact, I found out that I just ate a burger that was 830 calories! Wow.
    I could use some support and would be happy to support you, too. I'd like to go the rest of the month without eating any fast food.

    Avoid:
    Burgers, Fries and sauces!

    I'd like to choose a salad when eating out.

    830 is a lot. Fast food doesn't give a "filled" feeling as much (relative to the amount of calorie) as other foods give. I could easily eat >1500 calories in one meal if I don't watch out. Good idea to have a salad.

    Just to clarify my goal: my end goal is not to never eat fast food - my goal is to only eat it as an exception (like 1-2 per month, not 2-3 times per week like I did). But I'll start by avoiding it completely for a few months, so the habit will get out of my system.

    And of course I want to learn to cook. Got any good & easy recipes? :)

    Transformista, how did it go?

    I was successful! No fast food for >2 weeks! I feel good and am losing weight again! Will continue in May, will you join me?
