Polar loop Activity Tracker

Is anyone using this? Thoughts on it? I'm debating between this and a few others, so any feedback on any of the "bracelet" trackers would be appreciated.

The loop and garmini viviofit are the only activity trackers that can be paired to a HRM for exercise. Do a search- you will find lots of posts on this.

I've been using the loop since the beginning of Feb. I've been very pleased with it so far and would recommend based on my experience.

To get the most out of it, you really need to pair it with the heart rate sensor because it makes tracking your calorie burn during your workouts much more accurate. This is especially true if you cycle or do spin classes. I would suggest the H7 sensor as it should talk to the cardio equipment in your gym. So far it's worked with equipment from lifefitness, keiser and technogym that I have access to at my gym.

You upload your data through the flowsync program. You can do this wirelessly via your phone if it supports the BLE protocol. (It works on my ipad mini and my galaxy s3.) Or you can connect via your PC or Mac. Flowsync is still in beta so the feature set is still somewhat limited but it tells you the most important stuff - how many total calories you burned during the day. If you wear the HR strap, you can see how long your workout was, how many calories were burned during and other HR data while wearing the strap.

Battery life is ok. I've gone 2 or 3 days of regular use before charging but I usually just leave it connected to the computer for 30 mins or so after syncing so I never worry about it running out of juice.

Currently, you can't link your myfitness pal account to polar meaning you will have to manually enter your calorie burn for the day. I've read in the Polar forums that this could be added in the future but there are no guarantees. When I enter my calories burned, I only enter the amount while wearing the HR strap. It's my way of making sure I am under my net calories consumed.

Well, I'll stop before this turns into a giant wall of text. Hope this helps you with your choice.
