Garmin Vivofit and FR70 cal estimate different?

I decided to use my Garmin FR70 w/foot pod today along with my Vivofit and HRM. Distance wise they were close in their estimates but there is a significant calorie burn estimate discrepancy and I don't know why. The Vivofit estimated 337 while the FR70 estimated 157? Thoughts/suggestions on how to understand the difference?

So the Vivofit does not use First Beat algorithms when you use a HRM.

The FR70 is model that uses a unique algorithm when HRM is used. Otherwise it uses pace and weight.

Since you know pace and weight, might use incline of 1 if basically flat to account for movement speed, otherwise increase if hills up and down (when would the not be down, right?), to see what better estimate is.
Use the Gross option that all devices and database entries would be using, and this is more accurate than HRM, with 4% of measured.

Same weight on both devices?
If HR was used on both, did the HR stats match up too?0
