I am using a polar H7(heart rate monitor). I am using it with the app digifit, my question is the digifit gives me a higher calorie burn than the HRM, which one is right? My HRM said I burnt 288 calories and the digifit said I burnt 737, can someone help me please?

IDK what digifit is but I'd go with the polar... it's for sure measuring your HR over a period of time. I always figure no more than about 10 calories per minute for intense excercise.

You left out the details of what exactly you were doing so it is very hard to say. Usually, I go with the lowest answer. If we were talking about 3 hours of hard activity, maybe the higher. But if we are talking about an hour or less, definitely the lower.

I agree, go with the lower number always. I don't totally trust all of the technology linking together and being accurate. For example, my Fitbit wants me to eat more calories than I have MFP set for, so I just sync my Fitbit at the end of the day and if I have extra calories left on MFP after the sync, then I get dessert. If not, I don't.
