Upping kcal without gaining or going over macros

I've been trying to up my kilojoules for so long now because i have been under eating for so long (when i say under eating, i mean under eating by at least 4000kJ), but i cant seem to up my kJ without going over all my macros, thus i end up not eating at all because i dont want to go over my macros (always my carbohydrates). I don't want to gain either (obviously) but i am honestly so perplexed, theres so much going on;
- eat more to boost metabolism
-dont eat too many carbs
- protein
- kJ in vs kJ out
-dont workout too much
I have a headache thinking about it!
But basically, my main question is; How do i up kilojoules without going over macros & gaining visibly (not fussed about scales)
