You should be deadlifting to the ground and not on stacks. Those are more of partial deads. Keep the bar in contact with your shins the whole rep and before you lift the weight, pull slack out of the bar. In other words don't lift the weight immediately as you come on but instead keep your body tight and pull slightly up on the bar just before you begin the lift.0

Ok thanks for the advice! Yes, pulling the slack out of the bar just before I begin the lift is a vital part of the exercise and something that I try to incorporate each and every rep. Unfortunately, I get tired, and I begin to skip steps, forget to do things, etc.
The goal right now is to be able to deadlift to the ground, but because that can only be done with 45lbs on each side, I can't do it yet, so I have to use stacks to set and reset (I'm using 25lbs on each side if you can't see).0 -
I'm assuming you're using the stacks for proper heights with the weights you are using, so nothing wrong with that.
Form looks good. I agree with having the bar a little closer to the shin. Bar path looks pretty straight, so being a little closer should help a lot. Before the drive. lower your hips a little, this will bring your knees over the bar and should make contact. This will make the bar path easier and closer to your body.
You can also play around with your stance, I tend to have a bit closer stance, and pointed outward a little more as well.0
