Hi

I love to make an egg sandwich with an overhard egg (kill the tolk :)
From what I understand egg beaters are a better alternative to regular eggs...?
Can u make a fried egg using egg beaters or only omelets

Sorry for the silly question..Kim

Egg beaters are pretty yummy taste like normal eggs and you can pretty much do the same to them as you would a normal egg....all though they might not really look the same.... our favorites are scrambled and of course the omelet never fried it but im sure you probaly can....

My 12 year old daughter puts them in a coffee cup and microwaves them for a minute then dumps them on a toasted english muffin with a slice of cheese.... its like the perfect non mcdonalds egg mcmuffin

I've never used Egg Beaters but I would think you should be able to make a fried egg like you would for an egg sandwich. Speaking of egg sandwich, I haven't had one of those in a long time. That sounds yummy.

btw not a silly question at all.

I use egg beaters all the time, but mostly I scramble them. I would say you'd have to use some sort of form to keep it together in the pan. Or, you could try cooking them in a shallow bowl in the microwave - my hubby does this when he want to make an egg sandwhich

    Thanks everyone
I use thomas' multi-grain english muffins (100 cals) and a slice of cheese
Pretty yummy for 290 give or take cals
