Hoping to lose and keep it off!

I am a mother of 4 girls, grandmother to 2 boys. I am bipolar and for those who don't understand - that means that I take medication every day, twice a day to stay relatively normal in my moods. The medications I have taken over the years have added weight to the weight I gained having the girls. Now, when I take it off, it goes back on. I think I'm still about 20 lbs below where I started last time. I have a bad knee that collapses when it wants and my other knee is starting to give too. I have a bad lower back from having 4 girls in 5 years. I just was not made to have kids! I want to get healthy again as my mother died a year and a half ago and she weighed at least 400 lbs and was only 5 ft 3 in. She also had many health problems. I want to avoid all that I can. I have had tracheal bronchitis attacks (almost like asthma) for the past 22 years so cannot do anything extremely cardiac. Slow and easy wins the race in my case.
