Does a treadmill consume a lot of electricity?

Since walking is my favourite exercise I'm considering buying a treadmill because it's usually too hot outside in the summer. I'm planning on using it for 1-2 hours a day. Those who own a treadmill, how much did your electricity bill go up when you started using one at home?

I have had a treadmill in my house for well over 10 years and it didn't affect my bill much at all.
