 I've been using this website for 10 day and have lost 2 lbs. so far. I'm loving it. In following my 1200 calorie days, there have been days that I go over my calorie count and there are days that I stay under. However, if I average my calories for the past 10 days, I am under my goal - which is great. Does this mean I'm still okay? Or should I strictly try to keep at or under my 1200 calorie goal every day no matter what. There are some days that I'm hungrier than others....

Your daily calorie allowance has a built in shortfall, so if you go over a bit it's no big deal. Just try to stay close to it, whether it's over a bit or under by a bit. If you're losing weight (and it sounds like you're doing great!), then keep on doing what you're doing.

Do what works best for you. If your losing weight the way your going, then I'd say its ok. But thats just my opinion. Good luck.

That's a good question. Not sure if I have the right answer. I guess it would depend on how much you go over and how much you stay under. Going under is not really all that good for you. Puts your body into starvation mode. Going over a little, like maybe 120 cal. is not bad but anything more could hold back your weight loss too. How much do you exercise is another question? I would try to stay at the calorie count that you were given. On the days you are hungrier I would go for raw veggies or low fat-calorie items of any kind.

In my opinion, you should keep doing exactly what you're doing. :) As far as under-eating you should never be too far below 1200 that's really supposed to be a bare minimum number, a little variance is ok on occasion, but avoid being way below it...usually undereating one day will result in overeating the next. Aside from that consistency is key so if your weekly numbers are at your calorie target you're doing great. :)

Your net calories should not average below 1200 calories each day, or your metabolism will slow down, making it harder for you to lose weight.

Hello, I believe you should at the very least try to meet the 1200 cal goal everyday so that your body does not think you are going to starve it once in a while a little under won't hurt. As far as your hungrier days ...I have evened out all of my days on the hungry scale with fiber. At least 20-25g a day 5-8g with each meal and some extra with snacks...when you are intake fiber it definately keeps your hunger away. Also keep a close eye on your sodium intake that sneaks up quick!
