Okay so Im pregnant and my son is due at the end of June, I wanted to get a new swim suit a nice one, not s$6 walmart one (again) but sense i want a good one, i was thinking i should buy my normal size which would be depending on the brand small bottoms and a small-medium top.
OR should i just get a cheap one for this summer and next summer get a good one so im sure to fit.
right now my suits are all tie ones so i CAN adjust them to fit me, they do mostly still fit, except my chest, and the bottoms are a little tight so i just retied them to better fit.

If you were me, would you buy your normal size (hoping that you will in fact fit into that size once giving birth) or would you just wait?

Personally, I would buy a cheapish one in the size that you are now and get a more expensive one next summer when your weight has settled down after giving birth.

I am not a big fan of buying smaller sizes in the hope of getting into it.

The only time I have done this is at a thrift store, and the stakes were not high at $2.50 for a pair of pants!

Tight clothes bug me. Tight clothes while I was preggers? NO WAY! I'd wait and pick out some cute stuff after the baby. Your body will change a bit with childbirth anyway.

Even if you buy a size smaller now and you can "fit into it" eventually, it might not be the right fit. You don't shrink proportionally when you lose weight

I would buy a cheap one for now. You are due in June and the weight may not fall right off. Save your money for a nice one for next summer.
