I am tired of eating the same thing. I'm going grocery shopping this week and want to try some new (and hopefully inexpensive) dishes/meals. If you have ideas PLEASE share!!
Thanks ahead of time!!!!

I make turkey chili in my little crockpot pretty much once a week for my boyfriend and I to share. It's so easy and cheap, and not actually bad on the calories.
We use 1 lb ground turkey meat, 2 cans diced tomato (sometimes I get the pre-flavored for chili or with green chiles in it), and 2 cans of red beans in chili sauce. Cooks on low while we're at work, about 9 hours. It usually (depending what kind of cans you buy) yields 8 cups, with 1 cup = ~185 calories. You can get the calories to adjust lower by getting different cans of beans and tomatoes or obviously by cooking it more fresh, but you wanted cheap and easy and so do we! Trust me 1 cup is usually enough, though some days I'll go 1.5 cups and it's so filling. Stays good in the fridge all week!0
