water vs water w/lemon

I have recently acquired the taste for lemon water. I know that some people say that it's a good fat burner but I don't know for certain. I wonder if anyone else knows it actually does help or is adding lemon just a flavor booster?

If you like lemon in your water, great. It will have nothing to do with your weight loss.

The difference is negligible, if you like the taste, that's great, but it's not going to make a difference in the big picture.

The people who say it burns fat are silly; however, if it promotes you to drink more water, then it's doing a good job. Personally, I hate the "taste" of water, so I inevitably add flavours.

Just adds flavor. You might burn 1 calorie mixing it together though.

The lemon will do nothing for weight loss per say... It does work as a liver/kidney cleanse, and in turn a diuretic for some people. That may or may not show on the scale? It depends on the person. it is good for the body though so why not :)
