I like to drink on Friday nights, so I was planning on saving a few extra cals for that.... instead I had chinese for lunch!! Granted, I got the healthiest thing on the menu and only ate half, but still! Totally blew my drinking plan out of the water.

I could go exercise it off, but I am SO SORE from all the weights this week so I was planning on taking today off.

:drinker: what to do?? :drinker: :drinker:

You know...some times it's fun to stay sober and watch everyone else get drunk and see what they really act like. So go out with your friends and have a great time laughing at them. Leave the drinking to next week. Or you might have so much fun drinking water w/lemon and laughing at them that you might just decide to stay away from the wine more often.

I agree  You can also go there by car to avoid temptation
Actually after I started counting calories I'm not pissed off that I came by car and I can't drink
Besides remember alcohol slows down your metabolism. I can certainly feel it!

On the other hand if you decide to drink, one glass can be enough because your stomach will be empty, hehe. Funny little things you experience on a diet

    Hope that helps

I drink on Saturday nights usually and I have thought about how bad it is on my "diet"....but come time to sit around that fire, I have a beer in my hand. Temptation is the devil i tell you. So, if you avoid it, good for you..I know i haven't been able to yet. I know this is no help but i felt the need to tell you i have the same problem! lol. :drinker: Cheers!

I am always the d.d. Plus it is always fun the remind your friends what they don't remember, over and over again

We must be twins. Thanks everyone for all the good advice though. I know alcohol is bad for metabolism, but... but... it's the weekend! I've waited all week for the taste of a bubbly cold beer!

Actually I think I'm going to spend 90 minutes cleaning the house as hyperactively as I can before the fun starts, so I should burn off enough cals that I won't have to worry too much about a few beers.

Yes, I was right....only it was Friday night this week instead of Saturday night... :blushing: A few Coronas too many probably...... Hey, they were light! I know that doesn't really matter. Lol.. I tried! Seriously though, it is the weekend. We are young, might as well have fun while we can right!?!?!?
