Happy 1 year birthday to me, sort of.

I signed up with MFP on April 22, 2013 so I've been a member for one year as of today. I stopped logging, posting, exercising and all that good stuff from August 2013 until the end of January 2014 so about 5 months were spent backsliding. I'm basically a skinny-fat older guy. disclaimer: I felt obliged to put "older" in there since I'm 53 but I sure don't feel like it!
I figured this thread may be a good example for people who are uninspired and thinking about quitting...well, it doesn't work to your advantage to do that! I got my gut, moobs and bingo wings back during my 5 month break and now I'm trying to re-lose all of that and get in good health and decent shape whereas I'd probably be doing pretty good now if I'd kept with it the whole year.
The big photo is when I signed up at about 177 lbs. I weighed 149 on Easter but these small pics are at 155 on Feb 28. I don't look much different than that now so new photos aren't worth taking. The weenie-arm bicep shot is particularly disheartening. I've been going back to the gym but it hasn't been long enough to show yet but I'm glad to be back on the logging and exercise path again. I've learned a lot from the forums, have some great people in my friends list and am glad I found this site. I'm looking forward to doing a follow-up thread showing some actual positive results in a few months!
