Neoprene Waist Trimmer

Going on holiday in 6 weeks and would like to lose an inch of my waist. I don't exercise and am rubbish at cutting back on junk. However, i do walk a lot.
I have no money to go the gym and don't really have time for proper exercising anyway. I am trying to cut down on my food and walk more but i was wondering if anyone had tried the neoprene waist belt and if it helped them to make their waist a bit smaller?
I am considering buying one but don't know whether its worth it.
Would greatly appreciate anyone's experiences of it themselves and some advice.
Thanks

Not worth it. Any results are very temporary, it's basically water.

Exercise. Best waist trimmer you'll ever find.
30 day shred....20 minutes a day. You'll EASILY lose an inch in 6 weeks with that.0 -

I suggest 30DS too. Plus you can find it on YouTube. Good luck!0 -
Temporarily dehydrating an area of your body is just that, temporary, and we're talking about hours, max. If you want to look slim, you have to be slim, and that requires work, not gimmicks.

I actually wear one when I workout, but not to shink my belly, I have loose skin around my belly and the waist trimmer helps prevent the jiggling and reminds me to keep my core tight while I'm working out. Yes I've lost inches around my waist, but I attribute that to my nutrition and the fact that I work out. Wearing the trimmer alone won't do anything.0

It will keep an inch off your waist as long as you wear it and sweat each and every day. If you want permanent results, you will have to go a calorie deficit.0

Only when used in conjunction with either maintenance or a calorie deficit.0 -
I bought one of these things somewhere along the way. Never noticed any change in my measurements after wearing it. Complete waste of my money.
You're going to get better results doing this the hard way instead of looking for easy fixes.0 -
I have one! I use to work at Zellers and they were on clearance for a buck and I figured it would help me sit up straighter sitting down at a computer all day. I stopped using it.
If by trimmer you mean dehydrated you then yes, it dehydrates you so something will slim down. But then if you eat or drink it comes back. And it's not like it can continuously make you lose weight...it just gits rid of the water you have, dehydrating the body...and the moment you stop using it it stops working. Other ways to dehydrate your body for cheaper is to not drink any liquids or thiings high in water, and eat lots of protein. I don't recommend doing any of the above. Exercise, it does the body good, it makes you look better, and it makes you live longer. That belt well not.0 -
I started strength/toning about 6 weeks ago. Using the weight machines at our school's fitness center. In that time, I have trimmed 2 inches off my waist. Plus inches off other areas. But that's truly the way to go, not other gimmicks. Just sayin' OH, and I was going to say, that the machine that I think did the most for the waist was called a "rotary torso". It's a killer, but you can tell it works.0

I don't need to try jumping off the edge of the Grand Canyon buck naked to know it's a bad idea, plus, I'm rude and I like it that way. :smokin:
