Freshman in College; Want to look it, too!

Looking in the mirror lately, I have noticed some not so good changes in my body. I want to go ahead and lose this extra weight I've gained before it's too late, and am looking for some friends to help me out! I'm still pretty new to MFP and have to remind myself to remember to log every little thing and make sure I'm not wasting valuable calories! I weigh almost 160, and want to get down to the 120's! I know at first losing almost 40 lbs seemed impossible, but after joining MFP and seeing with my own eyes, success in others, I know I can do this. However, a little motivation and perspiration never hurt anyone

Good on you for noticing it. I was in serious denial about my initial weight gain and allowed it to spiral out of control when I finally did. When you look at it as a whole, it does seem daunting. Start with mini goals. A series of smaller, achievable drops. It makes a world of a difference! You've come to a great place to begin.0
