Also, there's Pa Grape, so let that add to your mystification!
My interpretation of VeggieTales has always been that "Veggie" just refers to vegetation so, like, the rumor weed would fit the bill. Then again, I may be overthinking it a bit. I've watched an awful lot of it.0 -
Tomato knows he’s a fruit and when he’s ready to come out to the others, he’ll do so. Cut him some slack!!0

Once you have a persimmon, then you will never believe the tomato to be a vegetable again.0

Cause... Bob the Tomato, spokesman for the VeggieTales, is a total conundrum. My child is not accepting the fact that Bob is actually a fruit.
Help. I don't know how to handle this. The cartoon is winning.
Um, the cucumber thing is a fruit too, just saying.0 -

They are oddly shaped for peas. Must be unprocessed.

Um, the cucumber thing is a fruit too, just saying.
Maybe that's a zucchini?
Actually I'm starting to question all of my fruit vs. vegetable knowledge now. The US Government declared the tomato a vegetable and science be damned? Seriously????

The tomato is a fruit, I don't care what it says.0 -
Oh my word, SQUASH is considered a fruit? I feel like I've been lied to my whole life.
I'm never going to be able to sleep tonight.

They only declared it a vegetable for tax purposes.
