Awhile back, I purchased some Garcinia Cambogia after reading about it from Dr. Oz. Anyone have success with this? I've only taken it here and there, so I can't say yes or no to it's effectiveness.
What about hot tea's?
Thanks!

Oh yes I know! I typically don't listen to Dr. Oz...or any Dr on TV.0

I drink green tea, but iced, not hot. I haven't seen any credible research on any herbal supplement that conclusively says it's safe and effective fr weight loss. I take a multi, vitamin D, calcium/magnesium/zinc, joint supplement, ginger , iron and a multi-B vitamin. I tend to run low on some according to my blood tests and prefer the daily stuff to the weekly megas the doc prescribes.0

and the things is.....if anyone does run across a supplement that works for them many times they end up gaining it all, and more, back after they are done taking it.
They dont learn a new lifestyle that allows them to be fit and thin.
There isnt a magic pill and people just need to use simple math to lose weight.
Take in less calories than your body needs to maintain its current weight.0 -
Well personally I do take Garcina Cambogia but not the one that Dr. Oz upsold or whatever. I told my doctor that I want to lose weight and we both don't want to put me on the diet pills that you have to monitor your heart on and what have you so she suggested I try Garcinia Cambogia for a month and we could go from there...well I have expericened weight loss so we are keeping at it. She told me they sell it at Costco (cause i told her i purchased a sample and they wanted $170 for 4 bottles after sending the sample so i sent it all back) for $18-$20 for like 200 pills. I have spoken to people at work that have tried it and it didn't do anything for them and then another lady used the drops from Amazon and had amazing results. Basically it is to curb the hunger and help prevent the absorption of fats you eat. Every body is different and I have noticed it help me to not snack between meals. It could all just be mind over matter but I AM changing my eating habits as well and will be adding exercise too. Like the previous people said there is no magic pill, it takes hard work and a change in lifestyle. BUT I feel it has helped me get down to this weight which I haven't succeeded at reaching before (lowest I got was 323 when i was married 3 years ago)
Hope this helps0 -

and then they credit it to the supplement!
I have purchased a number of them over the years, regrettfully, and each one always had an insert on how to eat properly or something like that. They almost always say you dont need to do anything else, but RECOMMEND you to follow a better eating lifestylfe.
I would encourage people not to throw $$ away on most of those things. All they do is mess you up, and drain your bank account. There is no reason why people cannot lose weight and pad their bank account by simplye eating alot less than they used to.

I agree...thats why i said it could just be a mind over matter or in other words the placebo affect. All that matters to me is that I am doing it!0 -
I was able to achieve extremely low body fat 3-7% in preparation for a figure show with a 18 week diet plan of a healthy macronutrient balance. The only supplement I used was protein powder and mutli vitamin /zinc. Proper food selections are key and regular exercise. Sure I have tried some products in the past , but after seeing what can be acheived totally naturally it is possible! Takes much self discipline.0
