Ok here's my question...does herbal tea, like rioboos, camomile, and just about any of the non-black teas from David's Tea, count towards my water intake or do I have to drink water on top of all the tea I may drink in a day? And if I am drinking water as well is it good to ad lemon or ACV to it? Thanks

Recent studies suggest that it does not matter what form your water comes in... it is all water in the end.
Also, an interesting study I read recently talked about how much water is in whole foods and that in fact we are really getting more water than we think.
Having said that, I try to drink at least five glasses a day and then get the rest from tea.0 -
I consider non-caffeinated teas the same as water. If there is sugar or something in it, I would count that towards my calories, of course – although I can't remember the last time I put any sweetener in tea.0

Zillah I'm like you I don't ever add sweetener to my tea...unless I'm sick then a little honey and some lemon to soothe the sore throat.0

If you brew your tea in 1 cup of water, you will have drank 1 cup of water when you finish it. Of course, for anyone else who may add sweeteners, you should definitely add those into your food diaries for the calorie count.0
